We're celebrating Major League Hacking's Local Hack Day initiative by hosting a hack day at the University of Toledo!
FREE FOOD. FREE FUN EVENT!
Join the University of Toledo ACM-W at our first ever Local Hack Day (Sponsored by Major League Hacking)!
MLH Local Hack Day is a 12 hour hack day taking place at the University of Toledo Brady Center that brings together the local hacker community to celebrate building awesome technology.
On December 2nd 2017, students around the world will be simultaneously hosting their own MLH Local Hack Day at their school, resulting in the single largest day of student hacking ever.
What is a hackathon/hack day? A hackathon/hack day is best described as an “invention marathon”. Anyone who has an interest in technology attends a hackathon to learn, build & share their creations over the course of a weekend in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. You don’t have to be a programmer and you certainly don’t have to be majoring in Computer Science.
No programming/engineering experience necessary! FREE FOOD THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE EVENT.
PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED AT THE END OF THE EVENT!
Come to learn!
Open to all students from any university/college.
EDIT: Area high schoolers are also welcome to attend!
